Blues assistant coach Steve Ott is bringing the trophy to Lakeshore
Lord Stanley will be making an appearance in Lakeshore Sunday.
Former Windsor Spitfire and assistant coach of the Stanley Cup champion St. Louis Blues Steve Ott will have the trophy at the Atlas Tube Centre.
Ott says the dream of winning the Stanley Cup started at a young age and, while he never got the hoist the trophy as a player, doing it as an NHL coach was the next best thing.
The event will take place at the Rock Development Rink from 12:15pm to 2:15pm.
Anyone wanting to have their photo taken with the Cup is asked to bring a canned good to be donated to the Community Support Centre of Essex County and Community Food Pantry.
AM800's Steve Bell is MCing the event.
