Yesterday he was named OHL player of the week, today Gabe Vilardi of the Spitfires has been given Canadian Hockey League Player of the Week honours.
The Windsor centre notched four goals and five assists in three straight wins last week, along with a plus-minus rating of plus-4.

A 17-year-old from Kingston, ON, Vilardi is playing in his second season with the Spitfires who chose him second overall in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection.
With 28 goals and 31 assists for 59 points in 43 games, Vilardi is listed third overall among North American skaters by NHL Central Scouting for the 2017 NHL Draft.
He competed in January’s Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Quebec City scoring a goal for Team Cherry in their 7-5 win.
