The Spits hit the road tomorrow to take on the CHL leading Greyhounds.
Windsor is currently 8th in the Western Conference, 27 points back of the Soo, who have lost their last two games.
Spits coach, Trevor Letowski says it's been a long week heading into a big weekend road trip.
"We're not used to having practice three days in a row, which is nice for us as coaches but it also makes it a little bit of a longer week," says Letowski. "You can tell the guys felt a little bit better about themselves, just to get the result."
With the Greyhounds losing their last two games, Letowski thinks it will make their matchup even harder.
""It was kind of a wake-up call for them last week and they haven't played a game since," Letowski adds. "They're probably chomping at the bit to play, so I think we're going to see them at their best."
The Spitfires are in the Soo tomorrow night, Saginaw on Saturday and Fling on Sunday afternoon.
