Windsor is taking on the #9 CHL ranked Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds Thursday at the WFCU Centre.
While facing their division rivals, the Spits could be without their captain.
Last weekend, Boca served a two game suspension for his post-game fight with a Barrie player — although he's eligible to return, he will be a game time decision.
Head Coach Trevor Letowski expects the Greyhounds to be a challenge.
"It's a team that's playing really well, they've found their game and they've gotten some players back from NHL camps and it's going to be one of the biggest challenges we've had all year," says Letowski.
He says the Greyhounds could be one of the biggest challengers they've had so far.
"It's a very important game for us — we felt like we were building some momentum, we had a couple wins in a row, we thought we got kind of the raw end of the deal there in Niagara and we lost late in that game and then we just didn't have a great effort in Erie and we lost in overtime," says Letowski. "We want to try to get some momentum and we're approaching this game as a real big game."
Windsor has an OHL record of 5-6-0-1 so far on the season so far and the Greyhounds are 8-3-2-0.
The AM800 pre-game show with Steve Bell and Manny Paiva gets underway at 6:30pm with puck drop at 7pm.
