The Windsor Spitfires have named Perry Wilson their new full-time goalie coach.
Wilson worked with the LaSalle Vipers from 2008 to 2015 — and was a member of the 2010 Sutherland Cup championship team. He's also spent time with Hockey Canada.
"I'm honoured to be part of this organization," says Wilson. "It's the place to be."

In a news release issued by the OHL team earlier today, the Spits say Wilson has worked extensively in the past with Michael DiPietro. Wilson hopes to have the biggest impact on up-and-coming netminders Brock Baier and Lucas Patton.
Wilson replaces Jim Bedard who was hired by the Dallas Stars.
"There were a lot of very good applicants for this job," says Spitfires GM Warren Rychel. "Perry is exactly what we need right now to replace Jimmy (Bedard)."
