The Windsor Spitfires have made two more moves before today's OHL trade deadline.
General Manager Warren Rychel picked up centre Adam Laishram from Hamilton for draft picks, as well as defenseman and Windsor native Daniel Robertson from Oshawa for a third-rounder. Both are 19 years old and expected to dress this Thursday.
"Robertson gives us some depth as a number 7 (defenceman)," says Rychel. "As you know we have some young kids in Corcoran and Angle and they can't be huge factors in the Memorial Cup so you need some men in here. I know he's a good kid and will accept his role. He comes from a great family. We're excited to get him. Bob Jones did a great job coaching him and so did D.J. (Smith) so I know him quite well."

Rychel also thinks Adam Laishram will prove to be another important piece as his team prepares for a long playoff run.
"I think he fits third-line centre right there and can play on any line," says Rychel. "He's got a lot of energy. Great kid with a great attitude and work ethic. We did some background checking on him and no one had bad thing to say about him."

Head coach Rocky Thompson also revealed today that newly acquired winger Jeremy Bracco won't be in the lineup against his old team on Thursday when the Spits host Kitchener.
"He does have an injury (lower-body) right now that we don't really want to disclose so we're going to have to hold him out a little bit," says Thompson. "We're also doing it for him as well because he was playing with it (injury) during the World Juniors too so this will give him some rest."
Thompson calls Bracco a 'game-breaker' and is excited to see where he'll fit into his team's top two lines.
