The Peterborough Petes beat the Windsor Spitfires 5-1 Thursday night at the WFCU Centre.
The Petes scored four unanswered goals.
Nick Robertson opened the scoring for the Petes early in the first period but the Spits answered back about eight minutes later.
Will Cuylle scored his 25th of the season on the power play.
The game was knotted up at one after the first period.
Peterborough got one in the second and scored three more in the third.
Spits Defenceman Nathan Staios says the team started off slow.
"We don't come out with the energy that we really want to at the start and I don't think we pushed back from there," says Staios.
Spits Head Coach Trevor Letowski says a few mistakes hurt the team.
"I thought we got a huge break on the disallowed goal," says Letowski. "I thought that would help us and the next shift we come out and make just a terrible turnover in the offensive zone."
Robertson along with Chad Denault, Chris Paquette and Liam Kirk each had two points in the game for the Petes.
Spits defenceman Sean Allen was ejected early in the third period for abuse of an official.
In the second period he received a check to the head penalty.
The Spitfires have now last three in a row.
They're back on the ice Friday night when they head to Guelph to battle the Storm.
