The Windsor Spitfires look to end a five-game losing streak when they hit the ice Thursday night.
The Spits are in North Bay for the first game of a three-game road trip.
Windsor currently holds down the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference, two points back of the Rangers and three up on the Otters.
Head Coach Trevor Letowski says the team just wants to get on the ice.
"When you're in a losing streak, it doesn't feel good and you just want to get out of it so the more games the better," says Letowski.
He says says with 19 games left on the schedule, it's almost crunch time.
"We have to start getting points — we hope to bring back points from the weekend and start to get going here," says Letowski.
Windsor is also in Sudbury Friday night and Owen Sound on Saturday.
Letowski says road trips always help with team chemistry.
"I think we do have a close group and I don't know if they need anymore team bonding or anything like that but it is nice to get away and eat our meals together, spend lots of time together and focus on the games" he says.
AM800 has the broadcast from Thursday night's game in North Bay starting at 6:45pm.
