The General Manager of the Windsor Spitfires continues to get ready for the OHL trade deadline.
As heard on AM800 sports, Warren Rychel traded Cody Morgan to the Flint Firebirds for a pair of draft picks on Tuesday.
He also waived overage forward Luke Kutkevicius.
Rychel believes he's pretty much done dealing but admits there might be a couple minor moves.
He says the Spits picked up Morgan a year ago.
"Cody was obviously part of the Vilardi trade," says Rychel. "He was big time coming in and it just didn't work out. He didn't get his footing, didn't get his confidence and I really like Cody. It's good to move him on to a team where he's going to play more. "I'm happy for him and also we were able to recoup a couple picks which is good."
Last month, the Spits traded away star goaltender Michael DiPietro to the Ottawa 67's.
The OHL trade deadline is next Thursday, January 10th.
