Windsor opens a key home-and-home series against the Sarnia Sting Thursday night.
The Spitfires are just five points back of Sarnia and are in the final playoff slot in the Ontario Hockey League West Division — right behind Windsor, a single point back, are the Erie Otters.
Left Winger Chris Playfair says these two games are critical.
"It's a really big opportunity for us here, you know we're chasing Sarnia and if we can win these two games coming up I think it'll be really huge for us."

Defenceman Connor Corcoran says they want to get closer to the Sting in these two games, adding "I want Sarnia to know we're coming for them, so it's not just us getting chased and I think we have a good chance of doing that this weekend"
Thurdsay's brodcast with Steve Bell and Manny Paiva starts at 6:30pm followed by puck drop at 7:05.
After Friday's game in Sarnia, Windsor then plays a rare Monday game at home to Owen Sound.
