Connor Corcoran will be in the Soo to represent Canada at the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge.
Rookie defenceman Connor Corcoran will represent Canada at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Sault Ste Marie later this month.
The 16-year-old Corcoran is among 66 goaltenders, forwards and defencemen that will stock three Hockey Canada entries at the event, set for October 27th to November 5th at the Essar Centre.
"This is great news for Connor," said Spitfires General Manager Warren Rychel. "He's a mature kid with a great skill set and a bright future. This will be a great experience for him."
The Beeton, Ontario native was the Spitfires first pick in the 2nd round of the CHL entry draft in April.
