The Windsor Spitfires scored three goals in the third period to rally for a 6-4 win over the Soo Greyhounds.
Thursday's win at the WFCU Centre is the fourth consecutive victory for the Spitfires (8-3-1).
Windsor never led in the hockey game until Curtis Douglas, Thomas Stevenson and Kyle McDonald scored in the third to erase a 4-3 deficit.
"I think they had five guys on one side of the ice, Ang's [Angle], I saw him take the puck and take a look and I just jumped into the opening there and got it," says Stevenson of his goal. "I just tried to get it through."
Cole Purboo, Connor Corcoran and Luke Boka also scored for the Spitfires and Tyler Angle added two assists.
Stevenson says the Spitfires pulled together for goaltender Kari Piiroinen, who stopped 18 shots in the win.
"We're playing solid everywhere. [Head Coach Trevor] Letowski harped on being strong defensively tonight and I don't know how many shots they got but I think we kept them pretty low," says Stevenson. "Everyone's working together and it's been good."
The Soo jumped out to a 2-0 lead just 3:42 into the hockey game on goals by Tye Kartye and Rory Kerins. Cole MacKay and Marc Goudreau also scored for the Greyhounds.
Windsor's Luke Boka tells AM800 News a deficit doesn't faze this year's squad.
"A great effort from our group, we're so resilient," says Boka. "There's just a feeling in our locker room that, whenever we get down it's not any frustration, it's just desperation that we need to come back and put ourselves in a good position to win the hockey game."
Ethan Taylor made 24 saves in the loss for the Soo (6-6-1) who have lost seven of nine OHL games in the month of October.
Windsor puts their four game winning streak on the line Sunday when the Sudbury Wolves visit the WFCU Centre.
Puck drop is 2:05 p.m.
