The Windsor Spitfires are getting set to hit the road for a pair of weekend games.
Windsor starts its road trip in Hamilton Saturday afternoon to take on the Bulldogs who have been struggling as of late losing five of their last seven games.
Spitfire assistant coach Mike Weber says the Bulldogs aren't to be taken lightly.
"They're a team that's been struggling a little bit, but obviously this is a great team. You look at them on paper, you look at their roster. That's a really good hockey team. A lot of really skilled players. Any time you go over to the East Division you need those points. Our division is so tight and our conference is to tight."
Weber says his team gets stronger each game.
"We're starting to play with more and more confidence as we've gone along here and we feel like we're a little bit ahead of where we maybe expected ourselves to be. It's great, so obviously as a coaching staff that kind of raises expectations for us and we want more and demand more out of our players."
Saturday's game gets underway in Hamilton at 4pm with the AM800 pre-game show at 3:45pm.
Windsor then heads to Oshawa for a showdown with the Generals Sunday.
The pre-game show goes at 5:45pm.
Puck drops at 6:05pm.
