After a back and forth battle, Tyler Angle scored the eventual game winner with less than five minutes to go in the third period.
Egor Afanasyev led the way for the Spitfires putting up three points — a goal and a pair of assists.
Windsor currently sits in fifth place in the OHL's Western Conference.
The Spitfires are off Saturday night before making a stop in Ottawa Sunday afternoon.
