Kyle McDonald, 16, was taken 25th overall in Aprils OHL draft
The Windsor Spitfires have signed their second round pick from April's OHL draft.
Kyle McDonald, 16, was the 25th overall selection from the Ottawa Junior Senators midget AAA team.
He scored 25 goals and had 46 points in 40 games last season.
Spits' general manager Warren Rychel says McDonald is a prototypical power forward at 6'4" and 181lbs.
"He's a two-way player and has an excellent shot," says Rychel. "We're looking forward to him contributing to out lineup in the near future."
McDonald will be at training camp, which begins in late August.
