The Windsor Spitfires are looking to make it four straight wins as they take on the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds Thursday night at the WFCU Centre.
The Spits have been playing well of late and are looking to stay in a playoff position, with just 10 games left in the OHL regular season.
Winger Curtis Douglas says for now, it is just one game at a time.
"We really have been focused on just continuing to keep rolling and using the momentum of the last three games and even prior, we have been playing well, hard and fast," he says.
The Spitfires enter action Thursday night sitting eighth in the OHL Western Conference standings, one point behind Sarnia and five points ahead of ninth place Erie.
Douglas says key is to keep the momentum going.
"I think that is the big focus, is to continue to play with that speed and the pace of the game we have and have all of our four lines going and rolling" he says.
The visiting Greyhounds own the second best record in the Western Conference.
Douglas, a 6 foot 9 centre, has 22 goals and 43 points in 57 games this season to sit third in team scoring.
He says right now, the regular season is the focus.
"We think of it as the better we play today, the better matchup we will have into the playoffs and we are just focused on getting and I don't think we are focused on the playoffs, we are focused on getting wins and playing our best brand of hockey," says Douglas.
