Windsor Spitfires president Bob Boughner says the team is ready for Sunday night's massive match-up against the Erie Otters.
The Spits face-off against the Otters in the Mastercard Memorial Cup final at the WFCU Centre.
Boughner says the boys are ready after playing in the CHL Alumni Game on Saturday. He's confident the game plan Spitfires head coach Rocky Thompson and his staff have brought to the rink.
He says winning in front of the home crowd at the WFCU Centre would be something special.
"It's tough to win four in a row in any tournament," says Boughner. "I love the way we're playing and I love the way the staff has got these guys ready. I mean, it's not just our dream, but those kids, to host it in front of their home fans. It's a sellout crowd obviously, it's national TV, it just tops everything we've done in franchise history in my mind."

Boughner says he doesn't foresee any major changes in the Spitfires attack for Sunday's final.
"Our gameplan since day one, I think Rocky's got these guys grinding and we're heavy on the forecheck," says Boughner. "We got a lot of puck possession when we get in their end and we're wearing them down, and I don't see that changing from the gameplan."
He says it's hard to compare this team with a Spitfires team that came all the way back after two losses to win the 2008-2009 Memorial Cup and the team that ran over the competition in 2009-2010.
"While it wasn't easy, we made it look easy," says Boughner. "This team is completely different, being the fact they've been off for 44 days before the tournament and had to earn everything to get where they are today."
Puck-drop is set for 7pm.
AM800's broadcast begins at 6:30pm with the pre-game show.
