The Windsor Spitfires 2018 Mini Camp is set for Saturday, April 21 at the WFCU Centre.
Lots is planned for the day including with on-ice sessions, an equipment sale and a "State of the Spitfires" Q&A event with General Manager Warren Rychel and Head Coach Trevor Letowski.
Season ticket members and all fans are invited to come to the town hall style event, during which Warren Rychel and Trevor Letowski will take questions.
Letowski says he's looking forward to meeting some of the new players.
"When you meet the person and you get to shake his hand and talk to him a bit, for me as a coach, there's a lot of value in that just to see the personality. We talk a lot about the culture of our group and we want high character people. That's how we feel we're going to be able to win one day here. So that's important to us."
He says says there's a big difference for the young players coming to the OHL.
""It's almost like a pro schedule, the way we approach it, but they still have to go to school. We're giving them a lot of detail, things to work on, critiquing things, just how we're going to improve as a team."
Fans are asked to arrive to the rink at 1:30pm.
There will also be an autograph session from 3:30pm until 4pm with Nathan Staios, Louka Henault, Daniel D’Amico, Cody Morgan and Grayson Ladd.
The on ice session starts at 4:30pm with 36 draftees, free agent hopefuls and Spitfire returnees lacing up.
