A 6-3 loss to the Generals in Oshawa extended the Windsor Spitfires losing streak to six Sunday.
Kenny Heuther put the Generals up 1-0 late in the first period with a power-play goal before Domenico Commisso made it 2-0 to start the second frame.
Cole Purboo helped the Spitfires bounce back to close out the second with back to back goals, the first goal coming on a penalty shot after Purboo was hauled down on a break-away.
That would be as close as Windsor would get. Heuther and Commisso both tallied their second of the game and Matt Brassard added an insurance maker before Brendan Harrogate put the final nail in the Spitfires coffin with an empty netter for a 6-3 final.
Brock Baier made 27 saves for the Spitfires and Kyle Keyser stopped 25 of 28 shots for the win.
