The Windsor Spitfires are trying to snap a three game losing streak.
The Spits are at home Thursday night to face-off against the Hamilton Bulldogs in OHL action.
Windsor has been outscored 21-9 during its three game losing streak and Captain Luke Boka says the Spits need to bounce back after a tough weekend.
"It's a perfect opportunity, we dropped three games there and we got three games in three nights again this weekend," says Boka. "I mean it's junior hockey, you're going to struggle at times and we have a great opportunity this weekend.
He says Hamilton is a team the Spits aren't familiar with, adding "We've practiced all week on our defensive side of the puck, that part of our game has slipped over the last couple games that we lost," says Boka.
He says with three games, in three nights, it's a perfect opportunity to pick up some wins.
"I mean no matter the wins or the loss, it's how we play and sometimes we're going to slip games and that just what happens in hockey," says Boka.
The Spits sit fourth in the Western Conference with 61 points while the Bulldogs sit seventh in the east with 46 points.
AM800's pre-game show with Steve Bell begins at 6:30pm on AM800 and the puck drops at 7:05pm.
