The Windsor Spitfires are looking to snap a two game losing streak.
The Spits welcome the Erie Otters to the WFCU Centre Thursday night.
Windsor is coming off back to back road losses last weekend against the Soo and Saginaw.
Forward Cole Purboo says the Spits need the two points.
"I think we just have to keep playing the way we've been playing for the most part," says Purboo. "I think especially in 2019 we've played a style of hockey that we like to play even though the results haven't always gone our way. I think if we play the way we can we'll be alright."
Purboo says he's looking forward to playing against his former teammate Matthew MacDougall who was traded to Erie earlier this month.
"It's always different looking at him across at the start of the game but once the game starts you don't really notice, it's just moving to quick" says Purboo. "So it will definitely be nice to see him again but it's going to be all business after that."
Purboo has five goals and four assists during his current 7-game point streak.
He leads the team with 20 goals.
The Spits have allowed 13 goals against in their last three games.
Windsor sits in seventh in the Western Conference with 41-points while the Otters sit in ninth with 38-points.
