The Windsor Spitfires are looking to make it four in a row.
The OHL club welcomes the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds to the WFCU Centre Thursday night.
Windsor is coming off a 4-2 win last Friday in London.
Assistant Captain Tyler Angle says the Soo is a younger team this year compared to previous years.
"They're well coached and they have a good system and they've been doing pretty good lately," says Angle. "They've been showing they can put up some points and stuff like that. I think we just got to come in like we usually do. We got to work on our starts, I mean our starts haven't been the greatest lately and just three periods, those minutes are crucial in a game."
Angle says he enjoys playing with Cole Purboo and Egor Afanasyev.
"You get the puck down low to Purbs, you can rely with him behind the net and Egor, he's always open, you can get him to rely on scoring," he says. "I think having two guys like that and three guys that are so different, I think that kind of gels in pretty good and I think teams are having trouble defending that right now and that's been good for us."
According to Angle, the team has been playing better defensively during its three-game winning streak.
"I think the best thing honestly in my eyes that I've seen the past couple games, is our defence," says Angle. "Our defence has been playing good. They've been ending pucks quicker and that makes jobs on us, our forwards a lot easier, kind of going down an odd man rush. I think if they keep doing that, it's going to make us forwards, our job a lot easier and hopefully we'll get a couple more points and win the games."
Windsor sits in second place in the West Division with 15 points while the Soo has 13-points.
Game time is set for 7:05pm with the AM800 pre-game show starting at 6:30pm.
