The Windsor Spitfires will look for their second win in as many nights as they hit the road to face the Kitchener Rangers.
The Spitfires are coming off a 5-0 win over the Erie Otters at the WFCU Centre on Thursday night for their fifth win in their last seven games.
Head Coach Trevor Letowski says they will make sure the players are focused on Friday night's game.
"You always worry about complacency with a young team, but we will do everything we can to make that the most important game we've played all year and try to bring kind of the same effort and then hopefully get rewarded," says Letowski.
The last time the Spitfires and Rangers battled, Windsor routed Kitchener 7-1 back on January 6 at the WFCU Centre.
But Letowski anticipates the rematch will be a lot tougher.
"It's always tough on the road and Kitchener seems to have kinda found their game a little bit since we beat them so it's certainly not going to be easy in that building and that will be the messaging before the game," adds Letowski.
The Kitchener Rangers (18-21-3-0) are coming off a 5-2 loss to London on Sunday but upset Guelph 4-3 last Friday.
The Rangers currently hold the final playoff spot in the Western Conference with 39 points, just four points behind the Windsor Spitfires (20-21-2-1).
Spits defenceman Sean Allen has been suspended indefinitely by the OHL for an elbowing major he received in Thursday night's game against Erie. The club has called up Dylan Robinson from the LaSalle Vipers.
You can listen to the game on AM800 CKLW starting at 7:05pm.
