A tough loss for the Windsor Spitfires in Kitchener.
The Rangers scored five unanswered goals in the second and third period to break open a tight game and beat the Spitfires 7-4 in the OHL on Friday night.
The game was tied at 2 midway through the second period before Kitchener would blow the game open.
Jean Luc Foudy had a goal and an assist for Windsor, who split their season series with Kitchener.
Cole Purboo, Luke Boka and Chase Campbell also scored for the shorthanded Spitfires, who were missing three players.
Kari Piiroinen made 31 saves in the loss.
The Spitfires (20-22-2-1) now sit in 7th place in the Western Conference, just two points ahead of Kitchener (19-21-3).
Windsor is back in action on Sunday when the Spitfires travel to Saginaw.
