Windsor Spitfires goalie has been named the OHL player of the week after posting a perfect 3-0 record with three shutouts.
The 17-year-old Amherstburg native turned aside all 64 shots he faced in backstopping the Spitfires to three road wins in Barrie, Sudbury and North Bay.
DiPietro now leads the league with four shutouts and has the lowest goals-against-average of 2.11 and the highest save percentage at .922.
The Spitfires second-round pick in 2015 now has a 15-3-4 record this season.
