Riley Damiani had a hat trick as the Kitchener Rangers doubled the Otters 6-3 in Erie Wednesday night.
Alexey Lipanov, Joseph Garreffa and Jonathan Yantsis rounded out the attack for the Rangers (33-29-4).
Former Spitfire Mathew MacDougall, Jack Duff, and Gera Poddubnyi scored for Erie (26-36-4).
The Rangers did the Spitfires a huge favour as Windsor holds down the final playoff spot in the OHL Western Conference, two points up on the Otters, and both teams have only two games remaining.
Windsor isĀ home Thursday night against Flint and they'll conclude their regular season Friday night in Sarnia.
You can listen to Thursday's game on AM800 starting at 6:30 p.m. with the pregame show.
