Logan Brown notched a first period hat trick as the Windsor Spitfires routed the Flint Firebirds 7-2 at the WFCU Centre before 4.034 fans Thursday night.
The Ottawa Senators first-round draft pick now has six goals and 17 points in seven games for the Spitfires this season.
Defenceman Jalen Chatfield and forward Aaron Luchuk each had a goal and two assists for Windsor.
In his Spitfires' debut, forward Julius Nattinen chipped in with two assists.
Michael DiPietro made 28 saves to pick up the win.
Windsor hits the road to play the London Knights at Budweiser Gardens Friday night.
