That's now seven loses in a row for the Windsor Spitfires after falling 4-3 to the Guelph Storm at the WFCU Centre Thursday night.
Luke Boka opened the scoring for Windsor mid-way through the first period, but Liam Hawel answered back less than a minute later for Guelph and Nat Schnarr put the Storm up 2-1 on a power-play goal with just minutes left in the first period.
Isaac Ratcliffe had a chance to add to that cushion to finish out the frame but Mike DiPietro shut the door on a penalty shot to keep Windsor within one.
The Storm jumped to a 3-1 lead early in the second on James McEwan's 11th goal of the season. Chris Playfair and Jake Smith helped Windsor claw back with two goals late in the frame to tie the game 3-3.
Guelph's Alexey Toropchenko would net the go-ahead goal with four-minutes left to play for a 4-3 win.
DiPietro made 21 saves in the loss.
