The Windsor Spitfires are back to their winning ways after a 7-6 win in OHL action over the Otters in Erie Friday night.
Windsor bounced back from an overtime loss at the hands of the Saginaw Spirit on Sunday, but it took an overtime win of their own.
Erie's Brendan Sellan opened the scoring with Jean-Luc Foudy and Will Cuylle answering for the Spitfires to send Windsor to the dressing room with a 2-1 lead to end the first period.
Windsor's Daniel D'Amico traded goals with the Otters' Austen Swankler to end the second frame with a 3-2 lead.
The goal lamp got a workout in the third as the back and forth continued.
Chad Yetman tied things up 3-3 for Erie two minutes into the third with Windsor's Connor Corcoran and Tyler Angle answering back to pull away 5-3.
Erie battled back on Yetman's second of the game and goals from, Emmett Sproule and Jack Duff to pull ahead 6-5, but a late powerplay set up a game tying goal from Curtis Douglas with just over 30-seconds left in the game.
Windsor put the game away on a goal from Connor Corcoran just 40-seconds into the extra frame.
The Spitfires outshot Erie 42-29.
Spitfire rookie Xavier Medina made 23 saves for the win.
Windsor heads to Niagara Saturday to face the IceDogs — puck drops at 7pm.
