The Windsor Spitfires defeated the Flint Firebirds 4-3 in overtime Sunday afternoon.
The Spitfires outshot the Firebirds 36-22.
Michael DiPietro made 19 saves for Windsor.
Sean Day scored a goal for the Spitfires.
Julius Nattinen also picked up a pair of goals for the Spits.
All three goals were within two minutes of each other to force the game into overtime.
Arron Luchuk scored the game winner.
The win at the WFCU Centre will help keep the Spitfires in 5th place in the OHL Western Conference.
The Spitfires next game is March 15, where they will face the Sarnia Sting at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
