A first period flurry was all it took to get the Rangers past the Windsor Spitfires 3-1 in Kitchener Friday night.
The Rangers scored all three of their goals in the first seven minutes of the game.
Jacob Ingham made 43-saves for Kitchener to keep his team in the game.
Jean-Luc Foudy was the lone scorer for Windsor in the loss.
The Spitfires now head back home to host the Sarnia Sting Saturday night at the WFCU Centre.
The action gets underway with the AM800 pre-game show at 6:30pm.
