The money will be used to expand the Barnyard Friends Project
The Windsor-Essex Therapeutic Riding Association has entered the winner's circle.
It has received a $250,000 donation from the Solcz Family Foundation.
The money will be used to help complete its Barnyard Friends Project.
It will expand the current facility to include horse corrals, fenced pasture and water sources for the therapy horses and a shaded outdoor learning space.
