Forced into tighter and tighter spaces because of years of development, Belle River Minor Soccer is fighting back.
The club has put Lakeshore town council on notice, it's tired of being kicked around.
B.R.M.S. officials point to the construction of the Atlas Tube Centre, that split soccer land down the middle.
Club President Rad Stevanovic says it's not about money, he just wants the town to replace lost resources. "We pay for everything ourselves and we're willing to look at novel ideas and different pathways to come together. But we need town council present in whatever negotiation we're going to do and kind of mediate."
Mayor Tom Bain admits council is surprised by the level of frustration and is promising to sit down with the club and go through the problems issue by issue.
