The City of Windsor's Snow Emergency will end at midnight.
It brings to an end 4 days and 3 nights of round-the-clock salting and plowing.
Operations Manager Dwayne Dawson says "We received an extreme amount of snow and that takes time and effort to clear, but we're confident we'll have a handle on it by midnight."
It means free parking at municipal lots will end at midnight, with enforcement to resume at 9 am.
The cost for this winter storm coverage is anticipated to be approximately $2 million and involved 23 plows and 45 pieces of heavy equipment.
The annual snowfall budget is $4 million.
