Snow is in the forecast for the rest of today but the heaviest part of this storm should be over by late morning.
Environment Canada says that 7 to 8 cm fell overnight and into early in the morning.
Another 3 or 4 centimetres is expected through-out the day before changing to flurries this evening.
Severe Weather Meteorologist Arnold Ashton says the temperature will also warm up to the freezing mark later in the morning "Any roads that are kind of snow covered right now will become wet and sloppy as the day wears on."
