LEAMINGTON — The OPP are investigating skeleton remains found at Point Pelee National Park in Leamington.
Spokesperson for Parks Canada Brett Levitt says the remains were found late Wednesday morning, near the marsh and police were called.
Parks Canada is working with the OPP to identify "the type and origin of the remains."
The OPP say the suspected human remains were found by an excavation crew working in the area.
The scene was secured and police are working with the Regional Coroner's office and a forensic anthropologist.
