The incident happened early Saturday morning

Six people are facing charges following a robbery at a Windsor apartment.

Officers were called to the building on Ouellette near Tecumseh Road around five Saturday morning originally for a report of a stabbing.

Police found a 27-year-old man in the hallway suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say the victim was leaving a unit when he was approached in the hallway by a group of people who demanded his wallet, then smashed him over the head with a bottle.

Six suspects between 19 and 21-years-old from Windsor and Walpole Island were arrested Tuesday morning.

The charges against the two women and four men include assault with a weapon, robbery and breaching probation.
