The province's Special Investigations Unit has completed its investigation into an incident between Windsor police and a man with an injured hand.
In August, police were called to a homeĀ for a domestic incident.
While officers were arresting the 43-year-old suspect, he told police to be careful of a hand injury that happened prior to police arriving.
The man was taken to the police station and then to the hospital for treatment.
SIU Director Tony Loparco says he terminated the investigation as the man's injury was self-inflicted and had nothing to do with his contact with the police.
No charges will be laid.
