Fleeing suspect complained of hand injury in Windsor police arrest
Ontario's Special Investigations Unit has dismissed a complaint against Windsor police from an arrest last month.
A 31-year-old man wanted on outstanding warrants was spotted by officers near Lillian Avenue and Capital Streets Tuesday October 24.
The man fled on foot, officers pursued and the suspect was arrested near a house on Vanier Street.
The man was taken to the Windsor Police Station where he complained of a sore hand.
He was taken to hospital where the injury was deemed not serious.
Because there was no serious injury involved the SIU has terminated their investigation.
