Brother and sister boxers from Windsor are trying to pull off a Canadian first -- go to the Summer Games together.
12-year-old Marie Ali Alahma Diah grew up in Montreal and started boxing at the age of three.
Two years ago her family moved to Windsor, and she and her brother joined the Windsor Amateur Boxing Club.
The club has turned out national champions and Olympians like Adam Trupish, Andrew Kooner and Mary Spencer.
Alahma Diah met Spencer and told CTV Windsor, "Mary has won the national championship nine times and she trained at this gym. I thought maybe I could become as good as her one day."
The 2024 Summer Olympics is her goal.
Her coach, Cedric Benn told CTV Windsor "she's athletic and she has talent, but the most important thing is she has a good work ethic. That's the main reason why I think she's for sure be at 2024."
Alahma Diah's big brother, Keoma wants to be by her side.
The 14-year-old has 26 matches under his belt and serves as a role model to his younger sister.
Both siblings told CTV Windsor " It would be really cool and it would be really cool if both of us went to the Olympics. That would be amazing. I'm sure everyone who has helped us would be happy."
