Windsor police are investigating a possible link between a stabbing, a shooting and a pepper spray incident near the downtown Thursday afternoon.
It all happened within a couple of blocks of each other around Glengarry Ave., University Ave. and Louis Ave around 4:15pm.
Police say two men and a woman were standing on Glengarry Ave. when they were approached by a boy on a bike who pepper sprayed the group.
When officers arrived, they located a 15-year-old boy with a non-life threatening gun shot wound to his arm. Investigators reviewed video surveillance and determined the 15-year-old boy was the suspect on the bike who pepper sprayed the group.
Police say after being sprayed, one of the men pulled out a gun and shot the suspect. Police have identified the shooter and are currently searching for him.
Then officers were called for a stabbing in the same area and found a 19-year-old who was stabbed.
Police believe there may be a link between the incidents and that they were not random.
