Joe Pavelski scored the final three goals for his fifth career hat trick as the Sane Jose Sharks rallied to beat the Red Wings 5-3 in Detroit.
Brent Burns contributed a goal and an assist to the victory.
Tim Heed tallied the other goal for San Jose, which is 9-2-and-1 in its last dozen games.
Detroit jumped out to a 3-1 lead on goals by Darren Helm, Gustav Nyquist and MIke Green. Justin Abdelkader had two assists for Detroit, which has lost five straight.
After the game, the Sharks acquired Nyquist from the Wings for two NHL draft picks.
The teams then finalized the deal hours later after Nyquist waived his no-trade clause, with the Sharks sending a 2019 second-round pick and conditional 2020 third-rounder to Detroit.
The Red Wings are in rebuilding mode with the third-fewest points in the league.
