Evander Kane erupted with two power-play goals as the San Jose Sharks doubled up the Montreal Canadiens 4-2 at the Bell Centre.
Kevin Labanc and Melker Karlsson also scored for San Jose, which snapped a two-game NHL skid to improve to 4-5-and-1.
Thomas Hertl had three assists in the win.
Nick Cousins opened the scoring late in the first for Montreal, and Joel Armia finished the scoring in the final minute.
The Canadiens lost their second straight to dip to 4-4-and-2 in the NHL standings.
Carey Price allowed four goals on 23 shots in defeat.
