Tech Week in Windsor has been hailed a huge success.
The five days of activities and events culminated with Tech Mobility Day where two tech firms each received a $5,000 boost.
The Institute for Border Logistics and Security was a partner in the event.
IBLS Executive Director Susan Anzolin says the idea is to move local industry forward.
"To transition from being the automotive capital of Canada to being the mobility centre. Mobility is a huge technology wave that's going across the globe and we want to be part of it."

WEtech Alliance CEO Yvonne Pilon says the links forged during the week are invaluable.
"There's dozens and dozens of partners on there and it goes to show that tech week, WEtech leads it, but it's powered by partnerships and we've been able to leverage some pretty big partners this year including the economic development corporation."
She says the second year has been a success and they hope year three is even bigger.
"Next year we're already thinking about how do we again make this bigger, better and partner with Detroit, partner with more partners here again to get more people to understand technology and that's the challenge."
Pilon says the goal is to get people to realize technology is more than just Google and Blackberry or apps and software, but is a part of everything.
