The investigation into the shooting of David Ortiz continues and authorities say they now have a second person in custody.
A TV producer and friend of Ortiz in the Dominican Republic tweeted a photo he claims shows the man who shot the longtime Red Sox slugger Sunday night.
The alleged getaway driver was arrested after the shooting and will be charged with being an accomplice to attempted murder.
Meanwhile, the former Red Sox slugger is stable and resting after undergoing a second surgery for a gunshot wound.
Ortiz was flown back to Boston Monday night following the shooting in the Dominican Republic.
He reportedly took his first steps since surgery on Tuesday and talked with his family.
His wife said in a statement that the 43-year-old will remain in the ICU for several days after the shooting resulted in the removal of his gallbladder, part of his intestine and damage to his liver.
