Scarehouse Windsor is open and ready to spook all who dare to enter.
With Halloween creeping closer, the haunted house will provide three-floors of terror for the whole month.
Creator Shawn Lippert says this is his last year setting up a temporary haunted house, after receiving a permanent location for next year at 1441 McDougall Street.
He says if people haven't experienced this yet, they should check it out.
"We spend our days looking at a two-dimensional screen," Lippert says. "You're watching TV two-dimensionally, you're on a computer two-dimensionally, go to a movie theatre and it's two-dimensional. When you come to Scarehouse Windsor, you become part of the event. You're walking through a three-dimension environment, and our job is to scare you."
Lippert says it'll be nice to finally be in a permanent location.
"It's a lot of work. We've been in this building now for two months. We'll be open for 15 working days total, and then we have to take it down in seven day because that's the agreement with the lease. There's a lot of work that goes on for a little bit of time for the entertainment."
This is Scarehouse Windsor's ninth year haunting Windsor-Essex residents.
The haunted house is at 576 Ouellete Avenue in downtown Windsor.
