It was delayed after digging found NativeCanadian artifacts
There's a light at the end of the tunnel for the long delayed opening of the Sandwich Town roundabout.
City Engineer Mark Winterton says paving is scheduled for this Wednesday, November 22, 2017 and Thursday, November 23, 2017 and it should be open by the end of the week.
The intersection of Sandwich St. and University Ave/Riverside Dr. has been closed since June for construction, which includes a new watermain and new pavement.
It was suppose to open in early September but was delayed due to the discovery of several artifacts from a former Native-Canadian settlement.
