The St. Clair College Men’s Baseball announced the commitment of several recruits for the 2017 season.
The Tecumseh Thunder Midget 18U team which recently qualified for the Nationals are well represented in this year’s St. Clair recruiting class with three players committed to the Saints.
6’5 Left Hand Pitcher Mitchell Prsa (Tecumseh, ON/Tecumseh Vista Academy) has enrolled in the Pre-Health Science program this fall with 5’9 Catcher Curtis Cunningham (Lasalle, ON/St. Thomas of Villanova) battery mate also looking to make an impact for the Saints right away.
5’10 Outfielder Carson Burke (Tecumseh, ON/St. Anne) will be taking Advertising and Marketing Communications at St. Clair and owns three OFSAA championships in baseball at the high school level.
Another pair of Tecumseh natives who play club ball for the Windsor Selects will also be joining the Saints roster in 6’1 Infielder/Catcher Josh Talerico (Tecumseh, ON/Tecumseh Vista Academy) and 6’0 Right Hand Pitcher Seth Chauvin (Tecumseh, ON/L’Essor).
5’10 Second Basemen Patrick Kibble (Windsor, ON/Riverside) is another Selects product and won a WECSSAA title and OFSAA Bronze medal this past spring who will be taking the Paramedic program at St. Clair’s Chatham campus in the fall.
