Sabathia is just the third lefty in baseball history to hit the milestone
A big night for New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia Tuesday.
He became just the third lefty in baseball history to record 3,000 strikeouts.
Sabathia joins a list that includes fellow left-handers Randy Johnson and Steve Carlton.
Despite the milestone, Sabathia's Yankees went on to lose to Arizona 3-1.
