Artyom Manukyan and Alexey Polodyan both scored twice to lift Russia to a 5-2 win over a team of Ontario Hockey League all-stars last night in the third game of the Canada-Russia Super Series.
Dmitri Samorukov also scored for Russia, which is 2-1 in the series after splitting a pair of games versus the Western Hockey League earlier this week.
Taylor Raddysh put the OHL team on the board on a penalty shot after Vladislav Kara was called for holding just 36 seconds into the game. Adam Mascherin scored the other OHL goal.
Alexey Melnichuk made 35 saves for the Russians. Dylan Wells stopped 9-of-13 shots in defeat.
The series continues on Monday in Sudbury, where Trevor Letowski will again act as head coach, and Spitfire goalie Michael DiPietro will also participate.
Russia caps the series with two games against the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League all-stars next week.
